Happy Hour / New Brand Launch

Hacienda on Henderson is the place we recently met for Happy Hour.
It is a trendy area and a cozy place to dine and sip wine! We had a great
time catching up and celebrating the launch of the ASA brand.
We ate red velvet cupcakes topped with ladybugs in honor of the
new brand.
In attendace were: Kenyon Ecker, Kathy Messina, Carrie Huddleston,
Wendy Gerstenkorn, Bonita Maurer, Ginny Lloyd, Kendra Madison,
and Gigi Firth her dog Elana.

ASA Happy Hour & Dinner

On August 20th, several of our sisters came together for dinner and drinks at Sushi Zushi. We enjoyed drink specials during Happy Hour and also experimented with a wide array of delectable rolls.

Next event on the list is our Scrapbooking and Exec meeting, on Saturday, September 18th at 2 PM. The Executive Board will be meeting a few hours prior. Please stop by and share in the memories from the past year.

Salad Luncheon

Our lovely DFW Alumnae gathered around the table for a light and delectable meal hosted by Leigh Ann Greathouse. This was the first, but not last, ASA gathering at the beautiful home that she so graciously opened up to the sisters. Our hostess gave a wonderful tour, and we later settled down to some good food and good conversation.

Lasagna Dinner 2010

The Dallas Alumni group met Feburary 6th, 2010 for our annual Lasagna Dinner.
This is one of our most favorite and popular events. This is one event where
spouses are invited to join the sisters. We welcomed a couple of new faces as
well as a potential new sister! This year we all got to expierence a new meat, antelope!
It is very yummy if you have never tried it. We were able to enjoy great food and fellowship.

Toys for Tots Christmas Party 2009

We welcomed Marine Alan into our event this year to collect all of the Toys for Tots. We were able to collect close to thirty toys this year and give a personal thanks to an active member serving our country. We played Dirty Santa and watched a few items go from hand to hand. As always everyone brought such good yummies to munch on.

Founders Day 2009

We celebrated years of sisterhood at LaMadeilines for Founders Day 2009.
We had a short but always popular raffel. The money raised goes to
Foundation. We enjoyed a great meal while catching up with each
about our busy lives. Wow, we were excited to welcome several new
members to our group today!

Hopping Good Time!

The Dallas Alum celebrated their annual "Easter Basket" event. The sisters gathered to fill Easter baskets for mentally challenged adults attending the Richardson Transition Center. We overfilled 12 baskets full of goodies for this philanthropic activity. This year was a first for us since we had our children and grandchildren attend for an Easter Egg hunt! It was so much fun watching the children run around the backyard collecting over 80 eggs. Of course, we ended our event with a nice sandwich spread and desserts. We welcome any newcomers to the area that would like to attend an event!
